![]() This one shows a US-built twin cab so it might be correct, but everybody should click that link to take a peek at that "Outrun USA" upright. Newer Sega flyers always list dims & weight, but TAFA surprisingly doesn't have the US flyer. It isn't really that hard to totally disassemble the cab if you need to get it down stairs. The twins weigh half a ton and split in half, and the coin box & marquee are removable. ![]() All cabinet versions use the same PCB and software. they can be operated alone if you want, you just change link settings to 'no link'. Each side of a twin is a complete game with it's own power supply, but the right side pulls it's line voltage from the left cab and they share the coin box with the volume & test buttons, obviously. Like all Sega games from the era, it uses two optical cables for linking. So if you see a Daytona with chrome shifters there is a good chance it's the later version. They're not really much different, but the second-run games from 1996 came with the spill shields & Sega Rally type shifters, which is chrome-plated instead of natural finish. Sega's US-built Daytona twins were made in at least 2 different production runs. As an avid player, I'd never want to own a special, limited, or UR Daytona. IIRC, the single player 25" sit downs had a different force feedback mech so it feels different than the normal motor & clutch feedback setup, though that might not matter to everyone. There was a fully working one at the last local auction that went for $500. Currently you can download and play the game for Windows. Originally released in United States, Japan in 1996. 2 and published by SEGA Entertainment, Inc. I sold a couple twins at auctions two years ago and they ended up selling for $2500 each as well. 1996 Windows Daytona USA is a game racing / driving developed by AM R&D Dept. Yeah, the price has dropped considerably in two years.
